• Deadline: Entries close on 10 October, November, and December 2025, depending on the cycle (Malaysian time).
  • First cycle: 25 September–10 October 2025
  • Second cycle: 12 November–24 November 2025
  • Third cycle: 25 November–10 December 2025
• Eligibility: Subject to the terms and conditions, open to all residents of Malaysia age 18 and above with a valid MyKad and address in Malaysia. Employees, affiliates, partners, and immediate family members of Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad are not eligible to enter.
• One entry per person will be accepted.

Prize

Each winner will receive a Jom Makan Veg! merchandise set, which consists of one T-shirt and one plushie keychain. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be substituted with items of equal value if necessary.

Winner Selection and Notification

Our team will review all entries and pick 10 winners across our three social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) in each round on the basis of creativity and thoughtfulness. Winners will be contacted via direct message from our official social media accounts within seven days after the closing date. Please respond within three days of Mercy For Animals’ notification to claim your prize.

Terms and Conditions

1. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “The Promoter” refers to Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad (company registration number: 202401019775 [1565624-W]), whose Instagram and TikTok handle is “mfa_malaysia” and Facebook handle is “MercyForAnimalsMY”. The “Prize” refers to the Jom Makan Veg! merchandise set. 
2. Eligibility: Subject to the terms and conditions, this competition is open to all residents of Malaysia age 18 and above with a valid MyKad and address in Malaysia. Employees, affiliates, partners, and immediate family members of Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad are not eligible to enter.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. Entries must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not contain any content that is offensive, obscene, or defamatory or violates any third-party rights.
5. Any entry deemed to be fraudulent or in violation of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
6. By entering this competition, entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
7. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Additional entries from the same person will not be considered.
8. The giveaway starts on 25 September 2025 and will run in three cycles:
   1. First cycle: 25 September–10 October 2025
   2. Second cycle: 12 November–24 November 2025
   3. Third cycle: 25 November–10 December 2025
9. The terms for each giveaway cycle are the same except the unique question for audience participation in the comments, which will be revealed on each social media post by The Promoter.
10. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
11. Modification or Termination: Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. In such an event, Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad may, at its discretion, award the Prize(s) to the eligible entries received prior to the action taken.
12. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    1. Follow The Promoter’s account on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
    2. Like the giveaway post and share on Stories.
    3. Tag a friend and comment under the post with your answer to a unique question posed by The Promoter.
    4. Only one entry per person is accepted.
    5. The Mercy For Animals Malaysia team will choose 10 winners across three social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok) per cycle on the basis of thoughtful and creative answers.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, natural disaster, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of The Promoter’s control. The Promoter will notify entrants of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
14. Release: By entering the giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any Prize.
15. The Prize is the Jom Makan Veg! merchandise set consisting of one T-shirt and one plushie keychain. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any Prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
16. The winner will be notified by direct message on the official social media channels within seven days of each closing date. Only The Promoter will ever contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the Prize within three days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
17. The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the Prize can be collected or will be delivered. The Prize(s) will be delivered to the winner(s) within 60 working days. Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad will make reasonable efforts to deliver the Prize(s) to the winner(s) at the address provided. However, Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad shall not be held responsible for any delays, loss, or damage during the delivery process.
18. The Promoter’s decision in all matters regarding the competition will be final.
19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Malaysian law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
20. The winner consents to Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad’s use of their name in any publicity material, as well as the contents of their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Malaysian data-protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s consent. By participating in the giveaway, the winners grant Mercy For Animals Malaysia Berhad the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional and marketing purposes without further compensation or notification, unless prohibited by law.
